Rebranding for a local non-profit theater, started by developing a logo and then expanded into a comprehensive identity system. The logo was inspired by film reels, as the organization is a classic and repertory theater that has screenings on 35mm. As a non-profit, budget was important for the project. As part fo the identity, all print collateral would be printed in black on colored paper, execping film stills only occassionally. Neon-colored paper would be used where possible to mimic the bright light of the movie screen in a dark theater.
